Are you stressed out from pandemic wedding planning? Well, then this post is for you! I get it - planning a wedding is stressful. From budgets to stressful family situations, to planning during a pandemic to all the decisions, it's not easy! Today I am going to share some simple self-care tips for stressed-out couples.


Have a spa day -

Grab your best friend, mom (maybe MIL?), and get a pedicure or massage. Even if you can't make it to an actual spa, create your own. Grab some Epsom salts, lavender oil, take a bath, add some relaxing music or a good book.


Date night -

In the midst of all your wedding planning - don't forget about the relationship. Grab your fiance and go out together, no wedding talk allowed!


Work out -

Start an exercise routine - whatever you love! Whether it's yoga, running, or lifting weights in the gym. Working out is great because not only will you look amazing in your wedding attire (that's an added bonus) but exercise is great for combating stress.


Get enough sleep -

You might have 1000 other things going on, but don't forget to prioritize your sleep. Sleep is so important to keep your body (and mind) healthy!


Keep yourself well-fed and hydrated -

Make sure you're eating lots of healthy food and drinking plenty of water. It can be hard to eat healthy when we're busy, but it's so important. Don't go too far and obsess over everything, just choose healthy foods and lots of water to keep your body healthy and happy.


Take time off from wedding planning -

Take breaks from wedding planning. Spend time with your fiancé, friends, and family without the wedding talk.


Don't forget to breathe -

When you start to feel overwhelmed, take a few minutes to sit and breathe. Maybe even start a meditation or mindfulness practice. Even simple breathing breaks will help tremendously with stress. You can do this! We're all in this together.
